JeepOS (TrailCommand)
Tactical trail telemetry, PDM solid-state winch control, and distributed rock camera video array for 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (JKU).
JeepOS (TrailCommand) transforms the factory dashboard and electrical architecture of the 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (JKU) Sahara into an autonomous, telemetry-rich off-road mission control system. Interfacing directly with the vehicle’s 125 kbps Interior High-Speed CAN bus (CAN-IHS) via the factory Radio C1 connector, JeepOS decodes native steering angle, transfer case position, transmission fluid temps, and wheel speeds. It couples this data with a solid-state Power Distribution Module (PDM) for safe winch control, a distributed multi-node Wi-Fi rock camera array, and an in-cab touchscreen HUD.
